Why you ask?

Because my scanner USB cable has been taken by mum and replaced by...nothing. My scanner is useless without it and the cable is being used for another printer. This ofcourse, pisses me off!
I just finished :iconemira-the-hedgehog:'s art trade too!

I asked mum, she said I'd have to buy a new one...

I'll tell you lot when I get one, until then, don't expect any art uploads anytime soon...

Peace out :peace:

The goal: Make me a new ID, I'm tired of my old one >_<

Prizes:

1st place: 3 Colored Requests
2nd place: 2 Colored Requests

Hints:

1. Don't forget, it's my new FC self that has to be in the picture, if anyone else (Jason for example (My former FC self)) I will disqualify the entry.
2. I'd prefer a cool pose rather than a cute one, but that's not mandatory.
3. Remember, I'm a die hard Sonic and Devil May Cry fan. But like point 2, it's not neccesary.
4. No blood and gore, I can't have a mature ID.
5. Nothing suggestive either, I'm not a playboy! (lol)
6. Regardless of how you draw me, remember: My eyes are double colored: Dark green with a hazel rim around the pupil.

Points you MUST remember:
Sonic FC: 1)Do not forget that lion tail. 2)Black hair covers his RIGHT eye unless in beast form where his eye is blood red. 3) Clothing can be chosen yourself

Metal Gear Solid 4 Review

Title: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots
Console: Playstation 3
Rated: 18+

Warning: This review may or may not contain spoilers. To be on the safe side, read this after you've gotten to a certain point of the game (Around 3 hours in).

Storyline/plot
This is what the MGS games excel at: The plot/story. I can not get enough of the amazing storyline. It beats even The Darkness in more ways than one. 9 years after Shadow Moses (MGS1) and a few years after the Big SHell incident (MGS2), Snake is called into action once again. Why? Because Liquid Snake (aka Liquid Ocelot) is planning to take down The Patriots using a system that almost literally controls soldiers using nanobots. This mission takes you to a few places in the world rather than one. You show up in the Middle East and South America and other destinations. However, regardless where the destination of the mission is, the objective is the same: Find and kill Liquid Ocelot. The story seems simple at first but then it refers (a lot) to past games so it's definately a plus if you've played the previous games. As if that's not enough, this MGS game still has all these wonderful plot twists that just blow you away sometimes. In MGS games, you should come to expect the unexpected. But you can never expect the twists that Hideo Kojima throws on the table.
10/10

Graphics
The graphics are pure brilliance. The makers really put extra thought and care into each and every aspect of the levels and overall details. No doubt that the word awesome is an understatement.
10/10

Gameplay and Difficulty
The gameplay lacks length. There is no doubt that cutscenes take up more than 50, maybe 60% of the game. It's more like a movie sometimes. Personally I can't complain, I love cutscenes. But this is a game, not a movie. The game controls are slightly different than before. From what I can see, you can no longer shoot without aiming your weapon first. But you shouldn't be thinking TOO much about weapons, after all, this is supposed to be a stealth game, and taking out enemies with non lethal force is cool if you do it right. Ofcourse most of the trademark stealth moves are still there and som new moves exclusive to MGS4 has been added. And in the stealth factor, it's quite good despite sometimes it's better to just walk over and shoot all the enemies without a supressor on the gun or just man a mortar and bomb your enemies to oblivion. Even so, the stealth part of the game is very well done and it's the most fun part of the game. It's a lot easier to hide now since you got this thing called "Octocamo" which automatically (yes I said automatically) changes the suit color pattern and texture to match the background/floor you stand leaning on or lying on. The amount of guns you can get and fire are vast and varied. Cool thing is, you can customize your own weapon and put on a few things.
As for the difficulty level, there are 4 settings. These have been given names that I don't remember right now. Theres 4 but I only remember "Liquid Easy" and "Big Boss Hard". Liquid easy is...very easy. For noobs/newbs however, it may prove a challenge but that's it. Enemies on easy are such pushovers! One shot in the leg and they die, no joke. I know it's supposed to be easy but still. Anyways, having 4 difficulties is perfect for veterans and rookies to the game.
8/10

Voice Acting
What would we do without you David Hayter, the voice of Snake. The voice acting is brilliant! It even outclasses The Darkness, but only slightly. The voices and such are very well done in this game, no doubt these people got skills.
10/10

Music & Audio
The music is great, and as if that's not enough you can actually find and use/play an ipod MP3 player with music you find in the game. I know it's unbelieavable. It's an awesome touch to the game and I think they should have done it in MGS2.
As for the audio. The gun shots, the screams, the yells, the sound effects, they've all really been done brilliantly. The sounds vary a lot sometimes and the details of the sound effects are...unbelieavable!
10/10

Blood, Gore and Violence
This is a MGS game, ofcourse theres blood, gore and violence! They've significantly lowered the amount of blood since MGS2, but all for the better, why? Because when you shot someone in MGS2, an unrealistic amount of blood spewed out from the enemy's head. Now theres not as much blood but theres still plenty! And need I comment on the violence? It's war!
9/10

Humor
Oh yes, this game has humor. There are easter eggs and ofcourse a soldier we've seen in MGS1 and 2. His stomache problems are hillarious and never fails to bring me laughing. Guessed who it is yet? That's right, it's Johnny Sasaki, also known as Diarrhea Johnny. He literally shits himself in one scene which is absolutely priceless! Not to mention certain codec calls and other things in the game. No worries, it's an action/drama game, but trust me, it has plenty of humor in it.
8/10

Character Designs
Need I comment? Snake, Ocelot, Jack/Raiden, the Colonel, all the designs in the game are well done and has undoubtly shown traces of the next generation. Cyborg ninjas, the "B&Bs" and all the familiar faces have been done with extreme care and excellence.
10/10

Scare Factor
When your radar is down and an enemy can be anywhere, you have to admit you can get a little nervous. Sure theres some really disturbing things in the game and the sudden noise breaking the silence when an enemy spots you can startle you, it's startled me a lot more than once. The bosses and certain parts of the game can make you nervous and you can be struck by panic if you're suddenly discovered by an enemy and you don't know what to do before he's already called for backup. Anyways, to sum it up, it's a spooky game sometimes, but it's nothing compared to Doom 3.
6/10

Multiplayer
Theres actually an online mode, but I haven't tried it so I won't rate it other than I'm sure it's awesome.

One of the best games I have ever had the pleasure to play. However, this game has 2 major drawbacks. 1: It's a lot more cutscene than game. 2: The plot can get confusing if you haven't played through the previous games. The graphics combined with the characters, voices and sounds make this game almost a reason alone to get the PS3.

Total Rating:10/10

I'm gonna go watch the whole gameplay on youtube, seeing as I can't be arsed to get a PS3. To me, it's a waste of money, but that's not for me to judge. I'll be on youtube if anyone needs me.

Title: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Console: Nintendo Wii
Rated: 12+

Storyline/plot
Hard for me to fathom properly but it seems that the characters are supposed to be in trophy form, and when they sort of rebel, they get the Subspace Emmisary after them...at least that's how I think it's like^^;
Not the best storyline either way, but that's not the main reason for the game.
4/10

Graphics
The graphics are excellent, lacking in quality some places still, but those are minor details that you won't get to see well before you get launched off the screen.
8/10

Gameplay and Difficulty
The gameplay is no different from the 2 games prior to SSBB. Ofcourse it's improved, but it's still battering your most favorite/hated character across the screen with many kinds of items. They've kept numerous old items and braught in a truckload of new ones. My favorite as some of you may have guessed is the Smash Ball (or something). The final smash is an awesome addition but it makes it alot easier for others to instantly KO other players. And some people just don't appreciate that^^;
The newest addition to the gameplay is adventure mode...and it is LONG! It's going to take me longer to finish this than it took me to finish The Darkness (probably). Adventure mode is cool and traveling in 2D style through many levels and killing (non gory) all enemies in your way because you're the awesome Falco Lombardi is an awesome idea that I'm glad was realized!
The difficulty is perfect. 4 levels, easy, normal, hard and ultimate...or something harder than hard. You can choose if your oppoent is to be worthy, or just plain pathetic. Excellent for new players and professionals.
9/10

Voice Acting
Well, there aren't many voices in the game really. Except in gameplay, those are...well, some are bad and some are good.
5/10

Music & Audio
The SFX can get really repetitive, like Sonic Next Gen. Still, the SFX is good quality and realistic sometimes. And the music is....awweessoommee! *plays Shadow Moses level with "Yell Dead Cell" playing*
8/10

Blood, Gore and Violence
Blood and gore? 0%! But I don't mind since it balances out with the amount of ass kicking in the game. I mean, that's what the whole game is about! Violence......*goes to bash Mario with a homerun bat*
7/10

Humor
Although the game is fun and all, it doesn't focus on humor. It has humerous parts no doubt, and you will certainly get lols from taking...certain pics of certain someone in an awkward position with another certain someone. *drags Snake away from Zelda*
7/10

Character Designs
What can I say? We all love the designs of Lucario, Snake, Sonic, Pikachu, Sheik, Ike *continues until all characters are mentioned* Blah blah blah, let the rating below speak for itself.
9/10

Scare Factor
So far I've seen no scary stuff, no startles, no extremely disturbing things...nothing. This game wasn't designed to scare, it was designed to entertain......which a high scare factor can do too but you know what I mean!
0/10

Multiplayer
This is the main purpose of the entire game. The amout of varied battle, the team battles, the HP battles, the 1 on 1 duels and all that. It's incredible how much they've put into this! And online gameplay is alright too, well, so far all I've managed to do is spectate and bet on the winning team (Haha, Snake and Bowser won, I knew the would!). Yeah you can spectate and bet on the winner. That's a small but still awesome feature! I won't go too deep into this, I got a game to play and Marios to beat to death with a bat! *runs*
10/10

-----

Entertainment-wise, I've had a better time playing The Darkness, however, that does not mean I don't like this game as much. I thought it was way above avarage until I played as Lucario...then it jumped like 500%! Lucario is like a graceful beast! He is my favorite character so far (that's at least until I try Sonic and see what happens)
Best multiplayer game of the year so far in my opinion. Yeah sure FPS online are often cooler in a sense but this is a fighting 2D game! You can't compare those genres! Either way, to sum it all up. Awesome game, money well spent!

Total Rating:9.5/10

Now if you'll excuse me, I got characters to unlock and a skull of a certain Italian plumber I have to bash in, seeya later!

Peace :peace:
